Woolbeding

Set a mile or so to the north west of Midhurst, the old manor house and church make a classic setting. The house, believed to date from 16th Century, and its attractive gardens are managed by the National Trust, who also manage the lovely parkland estate. The village also boasts a medieval bridge believed to date from 15th or 16th Century. Woolbeding Common to the North is an excellent area of restored heathland with fine views.
