About us

The Midhurst Society has been in existence since the early 1960s when it was originally formed to provide a local voice on planning applications. Since then, the planning world has become much better regulated, and the Midhurst Society is now prioritising its focus on being the local history and heritage group for the area.

The Midhurst Society has an Executive Committee which is responsible for its day-to-day management. This includes our programme of talks, our annual publication, The Midhurst Journal, our research activities, relationships with other groups and societies, and any other activities that we get involved with.

The Committee meets between six and eight times a year to make sure we keep connected with each other and to keep on top of all of our activities.

If you would be interested in joining us, please contact: chair@midhurstsociety.org.uk. We'd be delighted to hear from you.
